Howard Park Neighborhood Association Wish List 2007

   In 2006, the Howard Park Neighborhood Association developed a list of items that we would like to address. Please let us know if you can help. Here they are.

-Look for funds to install lanterns or antique style lights and street signs.
-Form a committee on building requirements and standards on properties in the neighborhood.
-Form a committee on traffic conditions/restrictions on pedestrian streets in the neighborhood.
-Replace all of the curbs in the neighborhood.
-Replace blacktop and sidewalks on Quimby Street.
-HPNA funded neighborhood green space beautification assistance grant.
-HPNA funded neighborhood homeowner improvement assistance grant.
-Acquire digital camera, computer, printer, and copy machine.
-Partner with neighborhood businesses to mail monthly newsletter.
-Form a newsletter committee to take over production of newsletter.
-Establish a program to annually assist residential neighborhood clean up.
-Install decorative street sign toppers ($20 each).
-Establish a fundraising committee.
-Have an annual block party.
-Establish dates for semiannual river cleanup.
-Sponsor a band for the Seitz Park concert series.
